Surf Lessons

We use some of the Costa Rica's Top Surfing Beaches, which have been awarded with the prestigious Blue Flag for cleanliness and safety, These beaches are considered, by top International Surf Instructors, to be amongst the finest Surfing Breaks in Central America, they provide ideal conditions for surfers of all abilities. In our Lessons at Tamarindo Beach we offer continuous coaching and personal attention throughout your course, that will guarantee results, progression and LOADS OF FUN!. Our Instructors are Level 1 Accreditied Coaches through ISA (international Surfing Asosiation). Being a ISA Acredited Surf School means that we operate to the very highest instructional and safety standards that's guarantie you are at the Best Surf School in Costa Rica

On our courses not only learn about sea safety and wave formation, but also relish the challenge of learning a new skill in a natural environment.

What to expect to learn on our Surf Lesson:

* Standing on a soft board and riding waves
* How to stand up correctly on the board
* How to position yourself on the softboard for a better balance
* Paddle correctly
* Technical correction of the stance
* Speed while riding
* How to cach waves
* How to drop waves
* Turn to both sides
* Surf etiquette
* Read the waves
* How to choose the right board

Our instructors	Safety
* Are all fully ISA Certificate Instructors * Have a minimun of 4 years of surfing experience and 2 years teaching experience * Are bilingual * Are CPR trained * Have full area knowledge	* Our instructors have lifeguard instruction * Our max. student ratio is 5:1 * All lessons are monitoring by a lifeguard * We use a beach protected from big swells * There is always first aid kit available during the lesson * Our students have medical attention cover

Private Lesson

The best way to get introduced into the world of surfing is through personalized private surf instruction, geting personalized expert surf instruction at one of the Best Costa Rica Surf Schools will guide you through the pitfalls and get you up and riding your own waves. You'll get up on your first lesson, guaranteed. Surf lessons are 2 hours long, include all the equipment and they are broken into more and less experienced surfers so that the instruction can be tailored to the student's skill level.
Progresive private surf classes available

Semi-Private Lesson

Classes are small�with a maximum ratio of five students per instructor. Surf lessons are 2 hours long and include all the equipment. 1/2 hour beach instruction, (just enough to get you up and riding right away), plus an hour and a half in the surf. Individuals can sign up for group lessons

Progresive group surf classes available

Corporate/Private Group Available

We can customise your experience and can cater for groups of up to 30 in number at once.

Any cancellations within 48hrs of a lesson booking (or failing to show up) will incurr a charge of $15 per person.
